Medical Training Program

1. Providing Assistance According to the MARCH Algorith

Levels: ASM, CLS, CMC

Key Course Topics:

  • Basics of tactical medicine following TCCC and TECC protocols, and the MARCH algorithm.
  • Principles of using an IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit).
  • Safety rules and behavior in combat conditions.
  • Providing first aid in combat situations.
  • Control and stoppage of massive bleeding: tourniquets, bandages, packing wounds, and hemostatic agents.
  • Primary examination.
  • Airway management (obstruction relief).
  • Techniques for opening airways.
  • Chest injuries (pneumothorax).
  • Circulation management.
  • Prevention of hypothermia, head and eye injuries.
  • Management of spinal injuries (stabilization and transportation).
  • First aid for burns, fractures, and blast injuries.
  • PAWS (Pain, Antibiotics, Wounds, Splinting).
  • Evacuation of the wounded to transport vehicles.
 

Practical Training:

Conducted under the guidance of experienced instructors. Participants will practice first aid techniques and methods in realistic conditions using modern medical equipment.

2. BLS – Basic Life Support

Overview:

BLS focuses on first aid algorithms for emergency situations. The goal is to increase the victim’s chances of survival. The training covers all aspects of first aid, step-by-step algorithms, scenarios, debunking myths, and teamwork development.

Key Features:

  • Modern training methodologies, educational materials, mannequins, dummies, medical equipment, and consumables.
  • The course aligns with international recommendations, standards, and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regulations.
 

Course Topics:

  • Legal and biological safety in providing aid.
  • Personal safety at the scene.
  • AVPU consciousness assessment scale.
  • First aid for loss of consciousness.
  • First aid for sudden cardiac arrest.
  • First aid for acute cerebrovascular accidents (stroke, TIA).
  • First aid for heart attack (myocardial infarction).
  • First aid for upper airway obstruction (foreign object blockage).
  • First aid for drowning.
  • First aid for seizures.
  • First aid for anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction).
  • First aid for thermal burns.
  • First aid for hypothermia or frostbite.
 

Practical Part:

  • Practicing algorithms through simulation scenarios.
  • Final exam using LAERDAL RESUSCI ANNE mannequin.
